Frequent bus riders will know that I came into possession of 1947 8N Ford tractor last November. I really didn't want it but I was owed some money and it appeared that the only way I could get my money was to take this tractor. Which I did, I brought home, powerwashed it and could never get it started again.
It spend the winter in the Private Mechanic's garage getting overhauled. Now, I have a very nice tractor that needs new rear tires.
This afternoon, I found this nice tractor on Craigslist at a very affordable price. It had two new rear tires on it. So, I bought the tractor for about what I would have paid for two new rear tires. Plus, I got a finish mower and a box blade.
Soon, with a litte paint, I will be keeping up with Brother Tom (aka the Horsefarmer)and his green machine.
To those who ask why do I need two tractors, my answer is for the same reason I.watch tv on the back porch.
